Paul Geddes (BComm '87) is one of the greatest hockey players to ever lace them up for the Dinos. He still holds the school single-season records for both points (69) and goals (32) after helping Calgary to an incredible 23-4-0 overall record in the 1986-87 season. That goal total won him the Canada West scoring title that season and is still the fourth-best total in conference history. Geddes earned plenty of honours over his years, including the Canada West MVP in 1987, the Dinos Male Athlete of the Year the same season, and he was twice named the CIAU most sportsmanlike player. After graduating with 76 goals and 90 assists in his 82 games played, Geddes went on to enjoy a lengthy professional career in Europe and is now a founding member of the 3rd Assist Club, an alumni group supporting Dinos Hockey.
