Please ensure you complete all required steps as soon as possible. Failure to do so could impact your eligibility to compete.
1. Athlete Eligibility Tracking System Registration
In order to complete the intake steps housed within this eligibility tracking system, please ensure you set at least 90 minutes aside to complete this task. Please follow the steps below.
- Access the following link to the Dinos Athlete Portal.
- Select the "Create your Own Account" button on the home page.
- Enter your first and last name as you would on any document (Please use proper capitalization) and your University of Calgary email address and select the "Create Account" button.
- From here you will be redirected to the main dashboard where you can select "Register for a team".
- Select the team(s) you are a part of and begin your registration.
- Once your registration is complete, the Dinos Athletics staff will be able to view your registration and begin the approval process for the upcoming season!
Housed within this registration are the requirements to complete your annual
U SPORTS Registration, CCES Anti-Doping Course for 2023, and the
University of Calgary Risk Managements Waiver (also listed below in step 2, which has been made available for athletes training on campus prior to completing this intake package).

Medical Intake / E-PPE

must be complete before your medical intake with your team.
New Incoming Athletes:
Returning Athletes:
All athletes need to bring their
Provincial Health Care Number and
UCalgary Student ID number to their medical intake.

Open Tryout & Walk-on Athletes:
- All athletes participating in open tryouts must produce an external medical completed before trying out for a varsity team. This medical is to be completed by a physician or nurse practitioner.
- All athletes are to arrive at the tryout with the above-mentioned physical and emergency contact information. This will be collected by the medical staff on site.
- All athletes participating in open tryouts must submit proof of medical insurance. Provincial health care numbers, or for international athletes, valid travel insurance, will be accepted.
