Fourth-year Calgary basketball player Tyler Fidler picked up his 11th and 12th double-doubles of the season as the Dinos kept their playoff hopes alive with a sweep of the Manitoba Bisons last weekend.

In Friday’s opener, Fidler scored 13 points but hauled down 17 big rebounds as the Dinos cruised to a 93-81 win over the Bisons. One night later, he put up a season-high 29 points and added 12 more rebounds as Calgary eked out a 100-91 decision in overtime, improving to 8-12 on the season. Saturday night he went 10-13 from the free throw stripe and 8-13 from the field.

He remains in the top 10 in Canada West scoring with a 17.5 points-per-game average (No. 8) and sits second in the conference in rebounding with 10.9 per outing.

The Dinos head to Edmonton this weekend for the final games at the University of Alberta Main Gym before returning home to close the season against the Saskatchewan Huskies.
