The Dinos split last weekend's matches, falling to Lethbridge before rebounding with a 2-1 win over the MacEwan Griffins. Calgary conceded an early goal in the sixth minute against MacEwan but equalized in the 18th minute via an own goal, and
Josiah Walter converted from the penalty spot five minutes later to put the Dinos ahead for good. Goalkeeper

Saskatchewan opened conference play with wins over Lethbridge and MacEwan before most recently falling 1-0 to Alberta, improving to 2-1-0 on the season; Huskies striker Tao Hein has scored three goals in three starts. Alberta enters unbeaten at 3-0-1 and ranked seventh nationally, having opened the season series with a 3-0 win over Calgary on Sept. 5.
Calgary has won eight of the last 10 meetings against the Huskies, including a 1-0 win in Saskatoon on Aug. 22. Alberta has the opposite trend in its favour, taking three straight from the Dinos in Battle of Alberta play.
Player to Watch: Jacob Hunter – Having started all five games this season and playing the most minutes on the roster, the defender is Calgary's leading scorer with two goals and an assist.

Calgary opened the season with two tight losses to Victoria, falling 3-2 in the opener despite scoring first and holding the Vikes off deep into the fourth quarter. Captain
Elliot Kellough opened the scoring, and
Maia McGillivray converted a penalty late to pull Calgary within one before Victoria closed it out. The following day, the Dinos fell 1-0 on a third-quarter penalty; Calgary came close to a leveller late, but McGillivray's attempt was saved.
UBC came agonizingly close to ending Victoria's run of Canada West titles last season, forcing a draw in the regular-season finale that nonetheless allowed the Vikes to retain the conference crown.
Player to Watch: Madison Forest – The goalkeeper turned in a strong season debut across the Victoria and was praised by head coach
Jenn Wishart for her play.

Calgary pushed the defending Hardy Cup champions all the way before Saskatchewan broke the game open with 24 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, sealing a 44-24 win. Quarterback
David Jordan completed 35 of 45 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns despite the loss, while
Matt Sibley caught eight passes for 146 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown.
Manitoba opened its season with a 40-22 win over Saskatchewan before falling 23-8 at Regina in its first road game, trailing 18-2 at halftime as the Rams moved to No. 4 in the latest U SPORTS rankings.
The two teams split a pair of tight games a year ago. Calgary won 15-14 at McMahon Stadium in September before Manitoba answered with a 33-31 win in Winnipeg in October.
Player to Watch: Everett Schmuland – The linebacker recorded seven solo tackles in Calgary's loss to Saskatchewan, a bright spot on defence against a high-powered Huskies offence.

Erica Mysko doubled the lead in the 33rd minute. The Dinos followed that with a 2-0 win over MacEwan, as
Sofia DiGiacomo scored one and assisted another.
Saskatchewan sits ninth in the national rankings off an unbeaten 3-0-1 start, having scored nine goals while conceding just once this season, led by Hazel Turnbull (three assists) and Cheyenne Lehmann and Nammi Nguyen (two goals apiece). Regina sits 1-3 on the season, its lone win a 2-1 result over Lethbridge.
Calgary and Saskatchewan played to a scoreless draw in their only meeting last season, while the Dinos beat Regina 2-0 in their most recent matchup.

Erica Mysko – Calgary's No. 10 has picked up two assists and one goal across the opening four games.

Calgary fell to the Alberta Pandas 29-21, holding a halftime lead for the second consecutive game before being edged out down the stretch. The Dinos have had five different try scorers across two games this season, with

UBC is the defending national champion after upsetting Victoria in last year's U SPORTS final, though the Thunderbirds dropped their season opener 43-25 to the top-ranked Vikes this year.
