Kellough earns second Outstanding Contributor Award; three Dinos named all-stars

CALGARY – Elliot Kellough of the University of Calgary Dinos field hockey team has been named the recipient of the Canada West Outstanding Contributor Award, the conference announced Sunday.

It's the second time Kellough has won the award, after also receiving it in 2024. She now moves on as the CW nominee for the U SPORTS Gail Wilson Award.

Three other Dinos were also recognized, with Molly Garnham, Mandy McIntosh and Victoria Zaccagnini named to the Canada West All-Star Team.

A Calgary native, Kellough has led the Dinos on and off the field, showing commitment to her team, her school, and the growth of youth field hockey in southern Alberta.

"Elliot truly defines what it means to be a Dino. As a captain for the past several seasons, she has provided steady leadership through a time of significant change in our program, and her teammates know they can look to her for support and guidance," said Dinos head coach Jenn Wishart. "As president of the Student-Athlete Council, she makes sure student-athlete voices are heard, and she's given back to the local youth field hockey community through junior coaching. What stands out most is her consistent commitment. She genuinely cares about the people around her and wants to see them succeed."

Garnham earned all-star honours for the third straight year. The fourth-year defender was first selected in 2024 after a breakout second season and has been a cornerstone of the Calgary back line since.

Zaccagnini was named an all-star for the second consecutive season. The third-year midfielder earned her first post-season honour in 2025 and followed it with another standout campaign.

McIntosh rounds out the Dinos' selections. The third-year forward from Calgary earned all-star honours after an impressive season in the Scarlet & Gold.
