CALGARY – Graduating middle
Jackson Meier has signed a professional contract overseas with the Chaumont Volley-Ball 52 club in France.
After racking up playing time in 80 sets during his 20-match campaign in the 2024-2025 season with the Dinos, the Calgary native graduated from the University of Calgary this past spring.
The senior made quite an offensive impact on the court last season, totalling 122 kills while hitting .359 and averaging 1.53 kills per set. Defensively, the 6-foot-7 middle was a force at the net. In addition to his eight solo blocks, Meier was a wall with his teammates, running up 56 block assists, ranking him second on the team in both categories, as well as total blocks.
Meier finished his time with the Dinos tallying a total of 412 kills, hitting an average of .417 and making 241.0 total blocks throughout his career.
