CALGARY – In an annual tradition dating back to 1987, the University of Calgary Dinos will host the Dino Cup over three days at the Jack Simpson Gym, beginning Thursday.

In preparation for the upcoming Canada West season, both the men's and women's volleyball teams will be in action on home court this weekend.

On the men's side, the Dinos battle Saskatchewan, Thompson Rivers and SAIT in a round-robin format. The top two teams will meet for first place Saturday at 1 p.m., while the third- and fourth-place teams play for bronze at the same time.

The Dinos women's team will open the weekend with an intrasquad match Thursday. On Friday, the roster splits to face UBC and Mount Royal at the same time on side-by-side courts, and the full squad takes on UBC Saturday morning.
