Anthony Parker caught and 85-yard touchdown pass from Erik Glavic on the first play of the game, a sign of things to come Saturday as the No. 3 Calgary Dinos improved to 6-1 with a 47-29 win over the Regina Rams (3-4) at McMahon Stadium.

Parker, a third-year slotback out of Foothills Composite High School in Okotoks, Alta., was the Dinos’ number one weapon as the team put up 719 yards of total offence. He caught six passes for 154 yards and the one major to lead the team, and he also led Calgary in rushing with six carries for 79 yards and another TD.

He finished with 233 yards from scrimmage and 246 all-purpose yards as the Dinos clinched at least second place in the conference standings and a guaranteed home playoff date.

With 802 receiving yards on the season, Parker leads the conference and has an outside shot at breaking the 1,000-yard barrier in Saturday’s regular season finale against the Golden Bears in Edmonton. He is also second in the conference in touchdowns with 10, one behind teammate Matt Walter.
