Ciaran McGovern played consistent volleyball over the weekend, leading the Dinos to a two-game sweep over the Saskatchewan Huskies in their season opener.

McGovern, a sophomore setter who was named to the CIS all-rookie team last season, quarterbacked the Dinos offence to 3-0 (25-17, 25-21, 25-22) and 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 15-11) wins. He racked up 80 assists over the two matches to go with 11 digs, five kills, and five blocks.
