Former Canada West All-Star Izak Lawrence was a major factor in the Dinos' two wins on the weekend over the Lethbridge Pronghorns to start the season.
 
In their home opener, the fifth-year veteran came off the bench to score the game winner in the second half in the 3-1 win.
 
The following day in Lethbridge, Lawrence's lone goal was the difference maker in the 1-0 win for the Dinos to complete the sweep of the Pronghorns over the weekend.
 
The Dinos host the Alberta Golden Bears in a double header Sept. 14-15 with the first game played at McMahon stadium before returning to West Varsity Pitch on Sunday.
