Jason Block arguably had the best meet of his career as a Dino at the CIS Championships in his home pool. The fifth-year swept all three breaststroke events at the meet, setting two records. He also won a silver medal in the men’s 4x100m medley relay on Saturday night.
 
His success started on Thursday night when he won the 100m breaststroke by over a second, and set a new CIS Championship record with a time of 59.08. This is the fourth time in his career he has won the event, giving him Grand Slam status. On Friday, the veteran won the 200m breaststroke by just under three seconds with a time of 2:09.86.
 
He ended his career with Calgary on Saturday night, where he set a new record in the 50m breaststroke with a time of 27.22. Later that night his 4x100m medley relay team took home silver.
