Tiara Schoenroth led the University of Calgary Dinos to a two-game sweep of the NAIT Ooks in ACAC women’s hockey action over the weekend. On Friday night in Edmonton, the first year forward opened the scoring with the eventual game winner in a 3-0 Dinos victory. Saturday night back in Calgary at the Olympic Oval, Tiara scored the shootout winner as the Dinos edged the Ooks 2-1. Calgary now sits atop the ACAC women’s hockey standings with a perfect 4-0 record, their best start in the program’s history. The Dinos face their crosstown rival Mount Royal Cougars (1-2-1) in a home-and-home match-up this weekend.
