The University of Calgary Dinos Ringette team proudly concludes an exceptional season marked by multiple achievements. The team secured the Calgary Open A Ringette League title during the regular season and proceeded to represent the University at the Open A Provincials in Sherwood Park. There, the Dinos engaged in a competitive five-game series, finishing 1-1-1 in the round robin to force a mini-game. Demonstrating resilience under pressure, they earned a 2-1 victory over the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, advancing to the semifinals. After a narrow 3-2 loss, the Dinos bounced back to claim the bronze medal—securing a spot at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships in Langley, B.C.

Following several weeks of preparation, the Dinos travelled to Langley, B.C. to compete as Team Alberta in the Western Canadian Championship. They delivered a dominant performance in the round robin, achieving a 4-0-0 record with victories over Team B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the host team Fraser Valley. Their success earned them a direct path to the finals, where they faced Fraser Valley once again in a thrilling rematch. In a closely contested game, the Dinos emerged victorious with a 6-5 win, the game-winning goal scored by Dinos' own Taylor Klappe.

The Dinos take great pride in their consistent success throughout the season, having medaled at every tournament they entered. Highlights include gold medals at both the University Challenge Cup and the Western Canadian Championship, as well as silver and bronze finishes at the Battle of the Bridges and Provincials, respectively.

As they prepare for the 16th season of ringette at the University of Calgary, the Dinos remain committed to building upon their successes of this season and continuing to maintain a high level of skill and competitiveness.
