Dinos make final stand against Pandas

| By:
CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos (7-11-0) will close out the regular season this weekend at home against the University of Alberta Pandas (11-5-2) with a two-game homestand, starting Friday.

Puck drop on Friday will be at 7 p.m., with Saturday's regular-season finale set to start at 6 p.m. Both games will take place inside Father David Bauer Arena and will be streamed live on Canada West TV, presented by Co-op.

TOUGH WEEKEND
The Dinos dropped two games to the league-leading Mount Royal Cougars last weekend, making the uphill battle for a playoff spot harder for Calgary who is now in a must-win situation against Alberta this weekend.

MUST WIN
Calgary enters the final regular-season weekend with 14 points – two behind the Regina Cougars for the sixth and final spot in the Canada West playoff picture. The Dinos will need to win at least one of the two games this weekend against Alberta. They will also need some support from the UBC Thunderbirds, who face Regina this weekend.

GRADUATING MEMBERS
Multiple Dinos staples will lace up for the last time with the program. Fifth-year players Taylor Beck, Sage Desjardins, Dayna Owen and captain Rachel Paul – who have all played an integral part with the Dinos for several years – will all be graduating and leaving after this season. The team will also honour Jordyn Burgar and Holly Reuther as they graduate this year.
