Dinos back in friendly confines for matchup with Cougars

| By:
CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos women's hockey team returns home to host the University of Regina Cougars. The first of two puck drops is set for Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m., with the rematch taking place on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. at Father David Bauer Arena.

BREAK THE SKID
The Dinos will be looking to move on from a difficult weekend in Saskatoon that saw them drop a pair of games against the Saskatchewan Huskies. Fourth-year forward Alli Borrow, who is tied for the team-lead with seven points, scored the lone goal for Calgary last weekend. The Dinos has a four-game win streak against the Cougars, with their last defeat to Regina coming in February 2019.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Last Friday night featured a goaltending battle between Calgary's Gabriella Durante and Saskatchewan's Colby Wilson. While the Huskies ultimately won the game, it was one of the top performances of the season for Durante who finished with 23 saves, including several clutch stops. The Dinos netminder has been in net for all three of Calgary's wins, including a 34-save shutout versus the Mount Royal Cougars on Oct. 30.

HOME SWEET HOME
The Dinos have played five straight games away from home, having not hosted a game in nearly a month. Despite a difficult five-game road swing that saw them drop four games, Calgary holds a 2-1 record on home ice, including a sweep of the MacEwan Griffins, Oct. 22-23.
