CALGARY – After the University of Calgary Dinos earned two important wins over their crosstown rivals last weekend, they look to face of against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns this weekend.
The first game will take place Friday, Nov. 22 at 7p.m. at Father David Bauer Arena, with the rematch played in Lethbridge on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. at Nicholas Sheran Arena.
DINOS HOLD SECOND
Following the Dinos sweep of the Mount Royal Cougars, the Dinos temporarily found themselves first place in the standings. Currently they sit in second place just two points behind the UBC Thunderbirds and four points ahead of the third place Lethbridge Pronghorns
ALL AROUND PRODUCTION
Kelsey Roberts stole the game last Saturday posting a 28 save shutout, while the Dinos captain
Paige Michalenko gave the Dinos the one goal they needed to secure the win. The Dinos have been getting production all around, including from several first-year players who have already gotten their first goals as DInos.
STRONG START
The season is not even half over yet, and already the Dinos (8-4) are having their best season since the 2015-16 season where they went 12-16.
