Pandas up next in home-and-home

| By:
CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos will look to get back in the win column as they travel north on Friday to meet their provincial rivals the University of Alberta Pandas in Edmonton for the first leg of a home-and-home series.

The first game is set for Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Clare Drake Arena in Edmonton. Then, both teams will make their way to Calgary for the second of the two-game series to be held at home on Saturday at 6 p.m. at Father David Bauer Arena.

BATTLING BACK
After being one of the most surprising teams and starting the season 4-2-0, the Dinos have lost their last two games and slipped back into 6th place in Canada West. The Dinos had captured their fourth win of the season in the first 3 weeks, just one shy of their total wins last season. They will look to get back in the win column and improving on their hot start.

STRONG BETWEEN THE PIPES
Despite the Dinos having a season to forget last year, Kelsey Roberts was exceptional in net all season making multiple highlight real saves. This season is looking to be no different as the 4th year goaltender has been strong on the backend with a .944 save percentage.

A FORMIDABLE FOE
The Dinos are 1-9 in their last 10 games against the Pandas with their last win coming on Nov. 23, 2018 where Dinos defeated the University of Alberta 2-1, with goals from Delaney Frey and Holly Reuther and a solid 28 save performance by Roberts.
