ON THE UP-AND-UP
After starting the 2019-2020 season 3-0-0, the UBC Thunderbirds handed the Dinos their first loss of the season last Saturday afternoon. The Dinos will look to rebound from that loss this weekend against Manitoba
THE ELECTRIC LINE
The forward line of
Elizabeth Lang,
Sara Craven and
Delaney Frey has come out strong this season for the Dinos. After combining for five goals and three assists in their opening weekend, they did not back down against UBC last Friday. Frey's goal in the last minute and Lang's overtime heroics led the Dinos to their third victory of the season last Friday night against UBC.
BREAKING SLUMPS
The Dinos have not won against the University of Manitoba Bisons in conference play since Feb. 6, 2016 where they won 4-2 at home. Calgary defeated Manitoba in non-conference play 2-1 in September and will look to break their losing slump in Canada West this weekend.
