BOX SCORE SASKATOON - Five goals from five different players propelled the No. 10 ranked University of Saskatchewan Huskies over the University of Calgary Dinos 5-1 Friday night in Saskatoon's Rutherford Rink.
Cami Wooster, Sara Greschner, Kaitlin Willoughby, Chelsea Sundby and Kennedy Harris all tallied in the win.
Saskatchewan improves to 6-2-1 on the season with the victory and into a tie for first place with the UBC Thunderbirds. Calgary drops to 3-5-1.
Wooster opened the scoring for the Huskies less than two minutes into the contest. Wooster's first shot on net was saved by Calgary goalie
Amanda Tapp, but the fifth-year forward followed her shot to the net and banged the rebound home for her fifth goal of the season.
Greschner added her fifth of the season at 5:57 of the first period with a deflection on a Kandace Cook shot to give the Huskies an early 2-0 lead.
Calgary's lone goal came at 18:07 of the first period to cut the Huskie lead in half at the first intermission.
Janelle Parent crossed up the Saskatchewan defence at the blue line and fired a shot just under the cross bar on Cassidy Hendricks' glove side.
Saskatchewan sored twice in the second period. Willoughby scored her fourth of the season on a slap shot from the point at 9:57 with the man advantage. Sundby made the score 4-1 at 19:40 tipping a perfect centering pass from Marley Ervine past a sprawling Tapp.
Kennedy Harris added her first Canada West goal at 14:53 of the third period for the game's fifth goal.
Hendricks made 21 saves on the night for Saskatchewan, shutting the door on all four of the Dinos' power play opportunities. Tapp recorded 22 saves in the loss.
