BOX SCORE

Playing in just her third game this season with the Dinos, Wickenheiser potted the Dinos' third goal with a shot from the point on a five-on-three at 15:40 in the second period. She also added helpers to the Dinos' fourth, fifth and sixth goals.

With the weekend split, Calgary sits at 8-2-0 on the season, while the Huskies move to 6-4-0. A night earlier, Saskatchewan won 5-2.

Julie Paetsch opened the scoring at 15:41 in the first period after driving the net and shoveling the puck passed Amanda Tapp on the second effort. The goal came moments after the Huskies killed off a Calgary five-on-three.

But after the goal – Calgary took over the scoring.

Kira Sonnenberg notched the game at one at 9:36 in the second period and Canada West leading scorer Elana Lovell made the game 2-1 at 14:16 in the frame.  Melissa Zubick, Sarah Astle and Tanya Morgan all added goals in the third period for the Dinos.

Saskatchewan found the net quick in the third period when Sara Greschner beat Tapp for her first CIS goal at 1:12. But Calgary quickly answered 38 seconds later with Zubick's goal.

Calgary finished the night 3-for-10 with the man advantage, while Saskatchewan was 0-3 on the power play.

MacKenzie Rizos made 30 saves for the Huskies, while Tapp stopped 19 shots for the victory.

The Huskies hit the road to face the UBC Thunderbirds next weekend, while Calgary returns home to host the University of Manitoba Bisons.
