Women's hockey player Shannon Davidson is the Dinos-Den Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 31, 2010.

Davidson scored her first two goals of the season as the Dinos swept their weekend series with the Lethbridge Pronghorns. In Friday's opener at the Olympic Oval, she scored the eventual game winner shorthanded late in the first period to give the Dinos a 2-0 lead. A night later in Lethbridge, she scored a power play marker late in the second period to put the Dinos up 2-1, and Calgary eventually won that one in a shootout, 3-2.

The Dinos trail the Horns by just one point with four games to play. Calgary enjoys a bye this weekend before hosting the UBC Thunderbirds for a pair at the Oval Feb. 12-13.
