Dinos baseball headed north up the QE2 to take on the Edmonton Collegiate Hawks, in a two game double header on Sunday at Re/Max field as both teams closed out the 2026 CCBC regular season. Both the Dinos and Hawks had already secured their spot in the league championships, so the game results were not as important as the opportunity for Coach Williams to prepare his squad for the upcoming playoffs and for many of the Dinos senior graduating players to see the field for the last time in the regular season.
Game 1 Summary Dinos 1 vs Hawks 13 (seven innings)
With their second bus trip in two days, the Dinos bats struggle as the offense can only tally 8 hits. Fifth year senior

An error in the Dinos outfield allows the inning to continue and Bristow is forced to leave and is unable to close the inning. Bristow leaves being charged with six runs (2 earned) on three hits.
Evan Gorr comes in to get the last out of the inning, but he surrenders a one strike bases loaded home run to Caedyn Colford. The Hawks turn a close game into a 7 - 1 lead and close out the game by scoring three more in the fifth and add three in the seventh to end the shortened game.
