The University of Calgary Dinos baseball team was eliminated from the CCBC 2025 championship (World Series) on Saturday after suffering a 13-8 loss to the University of Fraser Valley in the consolation semi-finals. It was the second loss to UFV at the championship for the Dinos. Fraser Valley came into the championship as the top seed with a record of 21-11 over the regular season. Fraser Valley had the Dinos number this season as the Cascades and Dinos played four times in the regular season with the Cascades winning all four regular season games.
Dinos were hoping to discover more of the championship success that saw them capture the 2023 league championship as they went undefeated that year, but the 2025 championship saw the Dinos frustrated with the end results as they got down early versus the Cascades and could not come back in both games. Despite the losses a number of Dinos had excellent playoff series.

Sam Grad had a .429 average with 2 runs scored.
3rd year designated hitter
