WINNIPEG – The University of Calgary Dinos men's volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Manitoba Bisons (17-25, 19-25, 23-25) on Friday night at the Investors Group Athletic Centre.
For the second straight night, the Bisons' efficiency proved the difference, completing a weekend sweep over Calgary. Manitoba hit at a strong .318 clip while committing just nine attack errors, compared to 25 for the Dinos.
Eric Ogaranko led the Bisons with nine kills, while setter Alex Witt tallied 25 assists.

Will Kay each scored seven kills for Calgary.
Calgary started well in the opening set, staying close until a Manitoba run pushed the lead to 11-7. The Bisons maintained control the rest of the way, helped by four service aces, to take the first set 25-17.
Manitoba carried that momentum into the second. The Dinos made a late push but couldn't close the gap, falling 25-19.
The third set was the tightest of the night. Manitoba opened with a 5-1 run before Calgary battled back to lead 9-8. The teams traded points until the Dinos went up 17-14, but the Bisons rallied to tie it at 20 and again at 23. Manitoba closed out the match with the final two points, sealing the win with a block at the net.
The Dinos, now 2-2, continue their six-game road swing next weekend against the Trinity Western Spartans, Nov. 7–8. Manitoba (2-4) heads into a bye week before visiting the Brandon Bobcats, Nov. 14–15.
