Vikes prove too much in Sunday showdown

VICTORIA – The No. 3 University of Victoria proved too much for the Calgary Dinos women's rugby team Sunday from Wallace Field.

The Vikes got on the board early with a try from Maya Addai in the third minute and another from Carissa Norsten in the sixth for a quick 10-0 edge.

The Dinos battled to the end, but the Vikes moved to 4-0 on the season with the 80-0 victory in this one.

Up next, Calgary have a week off before closing out the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 12 with a trip to Lethbridge for a rematch with the Pronghorns before hosting this year's Canada West Championships Oct. 17-20 at McMahon Stadium.
