Dinos baseball travelled to BC to take on the Vancouver Island University Mariners in a four game series. Despite winning the first game on Saturday the Dinos dropped the remaining three games as their team frustrations continued at the plate, as they failed to produce scoring runs to support the starting pitchers. Dinos return to Calgary and a four game series against the Victoria Golden Tide May 4th and 5th double headers Saturday 1pm start and Sunday 10am start.

Game 2 saw the Dinos score a run in the first inning as Owen McCuaig scores a run on an error by the Mariners third baseman, but the hopes of a big inning would end as the Dinos leave the bases loaded with one out. Starting pitcher

Dinos would end up giving up eight runs in the fourth and three runs in the fifth as the Mariners take an 11 - 1 lead. Dinos score two more on RBI's by Nick Varjassy and

Sunday saw the Dinos on the wrong end of two tight ball games as they lose game three by a score of 1 - 0 and game four by a score of 3 - 2.
Game three starting pitcher
Ethan Webster gave up one run in the third inning and that was all the Mariners needed as they shut out the Dinos. Webster would pitch six innings giving up five hits and striking out nine.
