Dinos baseball hosted the PBA Dawgs in a double header on Monday afternoon in the final home games of the 2024 season. Dinos had a rough outing in the first game as they dropped the game by a score of 18 - 4. Second game saw the Dinos bounce back to record the victory by score of 6 - 1. As it was the last home games of the season the Dinos recognized their graduating seniors on the day. Student - athletes recognized were:

Game one of the day saw the Dawgs strike early and often as they closed a shortened 6 inning game by a score of 18 - 4. Dawgs roughed up Dinos pitching for 17 hits during the game.
Colin Baxter went 2 for 3 at the plate with a run scored and 1 RBI to lead the Dinos offense.
Game two of the afternoon saw the Dinos bounce back to claim the victory and secure the split at home. In a bullpen game, as the Dinos prepare for the playoffs on Thursday,
Zach Bryksa picked up the win in relief of
Liam McAusland who pitched three innings of shutout ball. A total of four Dinos pitchers limited the Dawgs to one run (unearned) over the seven inning game. Great team pitching effort.
Offensively the Dinos were led by:
Keelor Loveridge 3 for 4 2 runs scored 1 RBI
Jacob Carlson 2 for 4 2 runs scored 1 RBI
Nathan Varjassy 1 for 1 2 RBI doubled in his only plate appearance.
Dinos will head to Lethbridge on Tuesday for a double header to round out the 2024 CCBC regular season and then return to Lethbridge Thursday for the start of the CCBC playoffs.
