After a first game loss to TRU Wolfpack on Friday night, Dinos baseball was looking to regain some momentum as they played a Saturday double header in Kamloops.
Dinos started off the Saturday double header strong as they defeated the Wolfpack by a score of 7 - 3. Starting pitcher
Riley Young pitched 6 strong innings, giving up one earned run and 3 hits., but it was relief pitcher
Ben Franz who picked up his first win of the season as he pitched two innings of shutout ball. Dinos Shortstop
Cale Yuzdepski hit his first HR of the season as he went 3 for 4 at the plate as the Dinos collected 10 team hits. Dinos second baseman Marcus Corderre was 3 for 5 at the plate with 2 RBI.
Game2 of the double header saw the Dinos fall by a score of 13 - 6 to the Wolfpack as Starting Pitcher
Wyatt Rogi did not get out of the 1st inning as he took his first loss of the year. Dinos used 7 pitchers during the game as TRU collected 13 runs on seven hits.
