EDMONTON – Four different University of Alberta Golden Bears lit the lamp on Friday night at the Drake, leading the home-side to a 4-2 win over the visiting University of Calgary Dinos men's hockey team.
Tyler Preziuso, Ryan Hughes, Dawson Davison, and Noah Philp scored for the U SPORTS No. 3 ranked Bears, who picked up their sixth-straight win with the 4-2 decision on Friday night.
Nick Schneider stopped 20 of the 22 Dinos shots of faced, improving his record to 7-0-0 in games he starts for Alberta.
With the Bears win, coupled with UBC's loss to Regina on Friday, the Bears now own sole possession of first in Canada West with a 12-2-1 record. The loss drops Calgary to 10-6-1, but they maintain their hold on third in CW with 21 points.

Carl Stankowski earning third star with 28 saves in a strong performance in the Dinos net.
Neither team generated much offensively in the first, with the shots level at 12's after 20.
Preziuso broke the deadlock five minutes into the second, beating Stankowski on a partial breakaway. Hughes doubled the Bears lead 10 minutes later, beating the Dinos goalie off a feed from Nolan Volcan, who finished with a pair of assists on Friday.
Graham cut the Bears lead in half early in the third, beating Schneider with a wrister over the shoulder.
Starting the game 0-4 on the powerplay, the Bears finally notched a PP tally to restore their two-goal lead, as Davidson's third off a feed from Hughes gave Alberta a 3-1 lead.
The Dinos answered right back in a highly entertaining third, with Upper's 6th beating a sprawling Schneider in the Bears crease. That was as close as the visitors would come, as Philp sealed the win with an empty netter.
The two rivals will meet again tomorrow night at Clare Drake Arena (7:00 p.m.), with the game also available on Canada West TV, presented by Co-op.
