CALGARY – After having games postponed last weekend, the University of Calgary Dinos (5-3) get set to host the MacEwan University Griffins (1-6) this weekend at the Jack Simpson Gym, Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. Friday, followed by 5 p.m. Saturday.
REMEMBER US?
This is the second weekend set between the Dinos and Griffins this season. The two teams met during Week 2 of Canada West basketball, when the Griffins upset the Dinos with an end of game buzzer-beater on Friday, Nov. 12. Calgary responded the next night to even the season series.

Annacy Palmer has led the young Dinos roster in scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game this season. In two games against the Griffins, Palmer poured in 19 and 14 points, while getting to the free-throw line eight times in the two games.

- Three Griffins players are averaging scoring in double figures thus far this season, led by Mackenzie Farmer at 14.0 points-per-game, while Shannon Majeau (13.7) and Noelle Kilbreath (12.8) are also major offensive pieces for MacEwan.
