EDMONTON – The undefeated run has continued for the University of Calgary Dinos.
On Saturday, the Dinos picked up their fourth win of the season and their seventh match with at least a point, setting a new program record for games undefeated to begin a season. At Foote Field on Sunday, Calgary extended that streak, as neither them nor the Alberta Golden Bears could break the deadlock in a 0-0 match.
The draw sees the Dinos move to 4-0-4, now in second place in the Central Division, trailing the Mount Royal Cougars by two points with a game in hand. Alberta now has a record of 3-1-4 and sits third in the division with three points separating them from Calgary.

Jake Ruschkowski played a pivotal role in keeping the game scoreless – especially in the first half with several key saves. The Calgary goalkeeper finished the game with four stops as he recorded his fourth clean sheet of the season.
The Golden Bears attack outshot the Dinos 9-6 and generated five corners, compared to just two by Calgary. Alberta goalkeeper Liam Collens was forced to make just one save on the day.
The Dinos return home for the final weekend of the regular season. With the game in hand over Mount Royal, they will control their own destiny with two games versus the MacEwan Griffins, Oct. 23-24.
