CALGARY – After sweeping the Lethbridge Pronghorns last weekend, the University of Calgary Dinos will look to close out their fall semester successfully against the University of Regina Cougars.
Puck drop will be Friday Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at Father David Bauer Arena, the rematch will follow Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m.
BATTLE IN THE STANDINGS
The Dinos are currently locked in tie for third place with the Saskatchewan Huskies and are within striking distance of first place, held by the University of Alberta Golden Bears. Only four points separate the top four teams in Canada West.
DOMINANCE ON ICE
The Dinos have won their last 10 matchups against the Regina Cougars, with most of those being high offensive scoring games. Their last lost to the Cougars came in November of the 2017-2018 season.
FINISHING THE SEMESTER RIGHT
The Dinos are currently 9-5-0 on the season as we approach the end of this semester. The Dinos will look to finish strong this weekend and gain some ground in the tight standings, before coming back in the new year to finish off the remaining 12 games of conference play.
