CALGARY – Coming off a tough weekend set against the Alberta Golden Bears, the University of Calgary Dinos look to get back in the win column as they face the Mount Royal Cougars.
The home-and-home set begins on Thursday at the Flames Community Arenas with a 7:15 p.m. puck drop, followed by a 7 p.m. start on Friday at the Father David Bauer Arena.
BATTLE OF ALBERTA WOES
The Dinos were dealt their first winless weekend in their last two games against the No. 1-ranked Golden Bears. Calgary held the lead twice on Friday night before Alberta scored three third-period goals in a 4-3 win. On Saturday night at the Clare Drake Arena, the Golden Bears controlled from start to finish in a 6-1 decision. The Dinos will have a shot at revenge Jan. 24-25 the next time the rivals meet.

Calgary won all four regular-season contests between the two inner-city foes, including the matchup at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Jan. 29, 2019. This year's meeting at the 'Dome is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at 4 p.m.
