CALGARY – Over last half-century of athletic achievement at the University of Calgary, 39 honoured individuals and teams have been enshrined in the Dinos Hall of Fame – a group that will welcome its newest members this fall.

The Dinos invite members of the UCalgary community to submit nominations for the Hall of Fame Class of 2022. Nominations will be accepted online until Feb. 28, 2022 – now extended until March 31, 2022.

HONOURED MEMBERS - DINOS HALL OF FAME

The Class of 2022 will be officially inducted at a event to be announced for early fall 2022.

Nominations must be endorsed by at least one alumnus/a of the University of Calgary, and there is a mandatory five-year waiting period for former student-athletes. Full eligibility criteria is available on the website.

Nominees will be considered in the categories Athlete, Builder, Coach, and Team.

The Class of 2022 will join 39 current honoured members and teams in the Hall of Fame, which features student-athletes, coaches, and administrators from the Dinos' illustrious history. From quarterback Greg Vavra to basketball star Janis (Paskevich) MacDonald to Dr. Lou Goodwin, the first dean of physical education, the current hall of famers have enhanced the University of Calgary's athletic and academic reputation and contributed in a significant way to the development of Dinos Athletics.
