Dinos Fastball opened their quest for a medal at the 2019 National Championships with a victory over the Western University Mustangs.

Haley Acton recorded 9 strikeouts on route to the win. Dinos hitters scattered 15 hits over the game as they were led by
Kim Vibert who went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI. Racquel Bennett had two hits and 3 RBI.
Maggie Lawson added two hits and
Cori van Uffelen had a two run homerun.
Dinos will face conference foes University of Saskatchewan in their second game of pool play today at 2:00pm Eastern time. Dinos final pool game will be Saturday at 10:15am EST against the Durham College Lords.
