Off to Langley for quarter-final rematch

CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos finished their regular season in third place in the Prairie Division of the Canada West standings after defeating the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, then falling to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. As a result, the Dinos advance to the Canada West quarter-final playoffs and are off to Langley B.C. to face the Trinity Western Spartans.

The game is set for Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8:30 p.m. MT. and can be watched live on CanadaWest.tv.

BRINGING THE HEAT
The quarter-final matchups consist of single games, in this case the Dinos, the No. 3 Prairie Division contender, will meet with the No. 2 Pacific Division contender, the Spartans. This game will be crucial for the Dinos to win in order to advance further in the playoffs. With the playoff heat, both teams will want to clinch a spot in the Final Four, the semi-finals and finally, the medal round. The Spartans will enter the match with an impressive record of 8-3-4, while the Dinos will head into the date with a record of 6-7-1.

DYNAMIC DUO
Dinos forward, Mark Bohdan has proven to be an asset to the team after scoring his first goal of the season against the Lethbridge Pronghorns. Bohdan has finished off the regular season having assisted his teammates in many of their goals. Bohdan's last assist helped Dinos defender, Ryan Doering earn his second of the season during the same game against the Pronghorns. Doering's first of the season, against the Mount Royal University Cougars, was also assisted by Bohdan. It is safe to say, a lot is expected from this dynamic duo going into the game against the Spartans.
