QUOTES:
TRU Assistant Coach Chuck Ferguson:
On the WolfPack's grit: "
"The ladies don't quit. They keep on coming. That is what I take away from this game. Despite some of the losses we have taken, the heart is still there. The will to win is still there. You see it on the floor. They are giving up the body. They are taking charges. They aren't taking the easy way out. They are competing until the end. I think it time on the court. It will come but it is not a quick fix when we are this young."
Calgary head coach Damian Jennings (5th year):
On the difference in the game:
"When you play uptempo, and in fairness both teams wanted to do that tonight, turnovers will occur. But it is how they happen. For us, it was our decision making. We were in the paint. They got back there and their safety was there. We had one or two options but we made one or two more dribbles instead of seeing where the exit routes were. It was how the turnovers occurred that were frustrating. They were needless and shouldn't happen. You could cut them in half straight away on transition decisions. But we play in transition, we have youthful group who are trying to learn. Sometimes that is the way it goes.
