CALGARY - After last weekend's home-and-home series against the Pronghorns, the University of Calgary Dinos return to their home rink this weekend to take on the University of Manitoba Bisons at Father David Bauer Arena.
The Dinos look to take their first winning record of the season, currently sitting at .500 with a 3-3 record, against a struggling Bisons team who are at 2-4 on the season.
After dropping three consecutive contests to start the season including being swept in their home opening weekend by the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, the Dinos have found their stride in the last few games. Calgary's offense was running on all cylinders last weekend as they swept the Lethbridge Pronghorns, including a decisive 6-2 victory at the Markin MacPhail Centre last Saturday.
