| By:
BOX SCORE REGINA – Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson poured in 27 points Saturda night, but it wasn't enough as the Dinos fell 92-81 to Regina at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health, and Sport.

Travis Sylvestre scored a career-high 24 points and Brendan Hebert set the University of Regina's career assists record. Hebert needed just two assists to pass Zach Michell as the school's all-time leader, and the fourth-year guard ended up with 11 in the win. He broke the record in the first quarter, collecting his 348th career assist on a Kade Marra three-pointer that tied up the game at 14-14.

The Cougars (5-15) led by as many as seven points in the first, but Calgary went on a 16-2 run in the second quarter as the Dinos jumped out to an eight-point advantage. But the Cougars scored 17 of the final 20 points of the quarter on a run punctuated by a Sylvestre triple from well beyond the three-point line at the halftime buzzer.

The third quarter saw the Cougars push the lead to double digits with an 8-2 run and Calgary never got closer than nine points the rest of the way.

Sylvestre was 8-for-14 from the field overall and 2-for-3 from three-point land, while Hebert was 3-for-4 from downtown and ended up with 16 points while leading all players with 11 assists. Marra also had a career high with 14 points and added six rebounds in just 15 minutes off the bench, while Jeremy Zver scored nine and Ryan Delwo had seven as the Regina bench outscored Calgary's by a 54-24 margin.

Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson was 8-for-19 from the field, 5-for-12 from three-point range, and led all players with 27 points while also adding five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Josh Turner scored 20 points in 18 minutes played, while Philip Barndt scored 12 and Matt Letkeman had a game-high 12 rebounds.

Calgary (6-14) will close out the 2013-14 season next weekend with a home-and-home against Lethbridge, while the Cougars finish off the conference schedule with home games against Brandon on Friday and Saturday.
