BOX SCORE CALGARY– In the highly contested rematch of yesterday's game the University of Calgary Dinos defeated the Mount Royal Cougars 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at MR Field.  Robin Whittaker scored the game's lone goal for the Dinos.

After a very rough, intense game yesterday the two sides kept their emotions in check early and played a relatively clean match. In the 20th minute Robin Whittaker took a pass from Kieran Lane-Oppenheim and deked around the Cougars keeper burying the game's first goal.

The Cougars got a number of chances but unlucky bounces and shots wide of the goal kept the Cougars off the board. At the half the Dinos led 1-0.

The second half saw Cody Cook and Kyle Houston have two glorious scoring chances for the Cougars but neither of them could beat the goaltender. The Dinos would hold the fort and win the match 1-0.

The Dinos will host UNBC on Thanksgiving Sunday while the Cougars will head to Langley to play TWU on Friday.
