WINNIPEG - Robbie Sihota was on his game Saturday night, but his teammates were nowhere to be found as the Calgary Dinos fell 82-68 Saturday night to the Winnipeg Wesmen in front of 1,125 spectators at the Duckworth Centre.

Fourth year forward Sihota scored a game-high 24 points and hauled in 13 rebounds to lead Calgary. Henry Bekkering finished with 13 points followed by Ross Bekkering's 12 points.
"He (Sihota) was teriffic, but the rest of the team was just in another place tonight," said Calgary coach Dan Vanhooren. "We were uninspired out there, and it was amazingly frustrating."
Three Wesmen starters scored in double figures led by third year guard Nick Lother who finished with a double-double (22 points, 11 rebounds). Third year forward Mike James played one of his best games as a Wesmen scoring 20 points and hauling in eight rebounds. Peter Lomuro also had a double-double in the game finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds.
After an even first quarter that ended with both teams tied at 16-16, the Wesmen outscored Calgary 20-14 to take a 36-30 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Winnipeg gained complete control in the third quarter outscoring Calgary 29-11 in the quarter to hold a commanding 65-41 lead after three quarters of play.
Calgary made a charge in the fourth quarter draining four-three pointers to cut into the Wesmen lead at 75-61 with just under four minutes to play. Three free-throws by Mike James and baskets by Christopher Jordan and Nick Lother held off the Dinos to preserve the win for the Wesmen.
The Dinos got just seven points from their bench and just 12 from the starting backcourt tandem of Jamie McLeod and Tyler Fidler.
Winnipeg (1-1) will head west to Regina to take on the Regina Cougars in a key divisional series in the early part of the regular season. The Dinos (1-1), meanwhile, will remain on the road, visiting Fraser Valley Friday night before taking on Thompson Rivers Saturday.
The Dinos open at home Nov. 7-8 when they host Brandon and Regina.
