Fifth-year senior middle Oleg Podporin is the Dinos-Den Male Athlete of the Week for January 31, 2010.

Podporin played just two sets in Friday night's 3-1 win but went 3-for-4 in the kills department. A night later, the senior from Almaty, Kazakhstan went 6-for-9 to hit an impressive 60 per cent over the weekend as the Dinos gained a one-game edge over the Alberta Golden Bears for top spot in Canada West.

The Dinos host the Brandon Bobcats this weekend and will bid farewell to seven graduating players on Saturday's Enterprise Seniors' Night.
