Freshman middle Ali Sandholm is the Dinos-Den female athlete of the week for November 24, 2008.

Sandholm had a solid weekend on the road at Alberta, helping the Dinos to a key sweep against the always-tough Pandas. In a 3-0 loss Friday, she led Calgary in hitting percentage at .455 with six kills on 11 attempts and followed that up with a .308 percentage - without a single error - in the Dinos' tight 3-2 win on Saturday night.

The No. 3 Dinos (6-2) visit Regina this weekend to close the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule.
