Graham Vigrass’ return to form was on full display this weekend in the Dinos’ two-match sweep of the UBC Okanagan Heat.

Vigrass, the reigning CIS player of the year, had his best performance of the season, pounding 17 kills in a four-set win Friday night before again leading the defending Canada West champion Dinos with 13 in Saturday’s straight-sets win. He hit better than 40 per cent both nights, including 48 per cent Saturday, as the Dinos swept the Heat and improved their record to 7-5 at the break.

The fifth-year middle also added 12 blocks on the weekend along with 11 big digs as the No. 6 Dinos swept the ninth-ranked Heat in their first-ever conference series.

Vigrass and the Dinos enjoy an extended break with the bye on the first week of January and return to action Jan. 20-21 when they host the Saskatchewan Huskies.
