 Dustin Butler was solid in goal on back-to-back nights as the Calgary Dinos recorded a sweep of the Alberta Golden Bears in men’s hockey action on the weekend, evening their record at 3-3-0.

Friday night in Edmonton, Butler made 32 saves in a 4-3 overtime win, earning third star status in the game. A day later at home, the reigning CIS goalie of the year stopped 18 of the 19 shots sent his way to give the Dinos a narrow 2-1 win over their archrivals – and this time, he was the second star.

Butler (3-1) boasts the conference’s third-best goals-against average at 2.17 along with an impressive .915 save percentage early in the year.

He and the Dinos face off this weekend against the Lethbridge Pronghorns (2-2-1) in a home-and-home set that begins Friday night at Father David Bauer Arena.
