Before UC: Drafted in the third round, 50th overall by the Vancouver Giants in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft… Began his junior career in the KIJHL (Junior B) with th Sicamous Eagles before spending all four years of his WHL career with the Giants... Attended prospect camp with the Vancouver Canucks in 2012... Joined the Allen Americans after the conclusion of his junior career in 2014 and won the league playoffs...
