Diogo Raposo


Diogo Raposo was named head coach of the Dinos women’s soccer team on Jan. 19, 2022. He has been with the Dinos program since 2018, working as an assistant coach until serving as the interim co-coach during the 2022 season.

In 2022, he helped lead one of the youngest rosters in the country to a berth in the U SPORTS championships – the third trip to nationals in his four seasons with the Scarlet & Gold.

Raposo serves as the sporting director at the Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club and works with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Girls Elite Regional EXCEL Super Centre program in Calgary. He has also held positions with Calgary Foothills' semi-professional side in United Women's Soccer and with the MacEwan University Griffins.
 
Originally from Bristol, R.I., Raposo's playing career saw him spend time with the USA Olympic Development Program from 2002 to 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education and teaching from the University of South Florida in 2012. Raposo's licences include a national diploma from United Soccer Coaches and Canada Soccer's B Licence.

Raposo is the seventh head coach in the program’s history.
