2011-12: Appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada, receiving the honour from Governor General David Johnston in the fall … played 16 of 24 games for the Dinos, scoring 32 points including a conference-leading 17 goals … finished second in the Canada West scoring race, just two points back of Saskatchewan’s Julie Paetsch ... led CIS with seven game-winning goals in 16 games … missed part of the middle of the season to represent Canada at the Four Nations Cup … named a first team Canada West all-star … picked up nine points in four playoff games, including one goal and eight assists … earned second team All-Canadian honours … named MVP of the CIS championship game with two goals and two assists as the Dinos won the national title … CIS championship all-star … named University of Calgary female athlete of the year … winner of the Calgary Booster Club Scholar-Athlete award … captained Canada to another world championship victory over the United States in Burlington, Vermont … winner of the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America® college division at large player of the year award, beating out student-athletes from across North America …
