Associate head coach Josh Gosling will serve as the interim head coach for the 2023-24 season, as former head coach Carla MacLeod announced she is accepting a head coaching position in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) with the Ottawa franchise.

Gosling joined the Dinos alongside MacLeod in August of 2021 from Edge School, a private school for Grades 4-12 located just west of Calgary, where he served as the head coach of their boy's U17 prep team. Gosling, whose responsibilities with the Dinos have included overseeing the defensive unit, also brings experience from various levels with Hockey Alberta and is a Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coach.

"In his two seasons with the team, Josh has built a tremendous rapport with the players and staff and I'm confident he will do an outstanding job as he steps into the head coach role for the remainder of this season," Dinos Director of Athletics Ben Matchett said.

"I am thankful and excited to have this opportunity. I am confident that we will keep building off the foundation that Carla and I have created over the past two seasons. There is a lot of potential for this group and program moving forward," said Gosling. "It is a true privilege to work every day with this group and in the Dinos community, I am thankful for Carla bringing me into this environment.
