Lindsay Lovse has been involved with the sport of ringette for 23 years, as a player for 21 years until her retirement at the end of the 2013 season. Lindsay has now turned to coaching. Her playing highlights include being a member of Calgary RATH in the inaugural season in the National Ringette League. She won a bronze medal at the 2002 World Ringette Championships with Team USA and was captain of the 2003 Team Alberta Canada Winter Games team. Lindsay played one season with the Dinos ringette team and captured gold at the University Challenge Cup. In 2013 she captained the NRL Calgary RATH to the league championship.
Lindsay began coaching ringette in 2004 at the U7 level and from 2005 - 2009 was a coach at the U14AA level capturing a provincial championship and silver medal at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships. Lindsay has been an assistant coach with the Dinos for the past two seasons.
Off the ice Lindsay's passion is travelling. She has been to 26 countries on 5 of 7 continents. Most recently visiting the Galapagos Islands. A University of Calgary alumni, graduating from the Haskayne School of Business in 2007. When not travelling or working Lindsay focuses on keeping a balanced mind and body through exercise and yoga (hot is her favourite!!).
